Unipole Billboards

Single-column, elevated structures built for expressways and highways where clear sightlines matter most.

About Unipole Billboards

5 sites currently available

A unipole is a large advertising face mounted on a single steel column, typically 12 to 18 metres above ground. That height is the point: on an expressway there is nothing between the driver and your message — no trees, no parked vehicles, no competing street furniture.

XL Billboards operates unipoles along the corridors that carry Lagos's heaviest daily volumes: the Lekki-Epe Expressway, Third Mainland Bridge approaches, Apapa-Oshodi Expressway and the Ikorodu Road spine. These are the routes that move hundreds of thousands of vehicles a day, and a well-sited unipole on one of them is among the highest-impression media buys available in the country.

The structures are engineered to withstand harmattan winds and rainy-season storms, inspected quarterly, and fully permitted. Faces are available single-sided or back-to-back, so you can capture both inbound and outbound traffic on the same structure.

Key benefits

Unobstructed sightlines

Elevated placement clears roadside obstructions, delivering a clean 200–400 metre approach view at highway speeds.

Highest impression volumes

Sited on expressways carrying 80,000–200,000 daily vehicle movements, the format's reach is unmatched.

Two-way capture

Back-to-back configurations catch both directions of travel, doubling exposure without a second permit.

Premium brand association

The scale and cost of unipole placement signals category leadership to the audiences who see it.
