What it’s like to work here
XL Billboards is a small team running a large operation. Between us we manage more than 200 permitted structures across Lagos, handle LASAA and APCON compliance for every campaign, and deliver work for brands in telecoms, fintech, FMCG and real estate. That only works because everyone here carries real responsibility.
We are based in Ikeja, off Allen Avenue. Most roles combine desk work with time on the road — you will visit sites, check installations, and see how traffic actually behaves at the locations you are selling. That grounding is the difference between someone who can quote a rate card and someone who can advise a client.
We are honest with clients, which means we are honest internally too. If a site will not perform, we say so. If a deadline is at risk, we raise it early. People who need a lot of hierarchy to function tend not to enjoy it here; people who want to be trusted with something significant usually do.
Small team, real ownership
There is no layer of account managers between you and the work. Whatever you take on, you own end to end — and you see the campaign go up on the road.
Learn the whole business
Permitting, structural engineering, print production, media planning and client work all happen under one roof. You will understand outdoor advertising properly, not just one slice of it.
