Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 August 2026

These terms govern your use of xlbillboardsng.com and the outdoor advertising services provided by XL Billboards Limited. Please read them carefully — they set out how bookings, approvals, payment and liability work.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing xlbillboardsng.com or engaging XL Billboards Limited for advertising services, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Our Services

XL Billboards provides out-of-home advertising services in Nigeria, including the supply of billboard and other advertising space, media planning and buying, artwork production and printing, installation and maintenance, and regulatory permitting.

Information published on this site — including site listings, sizes, daily impression estimates and indicative price ranges — is provided for guidance. It does not constitute a binding offer. Binding terms arise only from a written quotation or campaign contract signed by both parties.

3. Billboard Availability and Booking

Availability shown on this site reflects our records at the time of viewing and can change without notice. A site is reserved only once a written booking is confirmed by us and any required deposit is received.

Daily impression figures are estimates derived from traffic data. They indicate relative site strength for planning purposes and are not a measured count of viewers, nor a guarantee of campaign performance.

Where a booked structure becomes unavailable through circumstances outside our control — including regulatory action, structural damage or loss of a landlord agreement — we will offer a comparable alternative site or a pro-rata refund for the affected period.

4. Advertising Content and Approvals

You are responsible for the artwork you supply and warrant that it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, is not defamatory, misleading or unlawful, and complies with the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (APCON) code and all applicable law.

All creative must be vetted by APCON and permitted by the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), or the equivalent authority in other states, before display. We manage this process on your behalf, but approval rests with the regulator and cannot be guaranteed.

We reserve the right to decline or remove any advertisement that we reasonably consider unlawful, in breach of regulation, or damaging to our relationships with landlords or authorities. Where content is declined before installation, you may substitute alternative artwork.

5. Payment Terms

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Unless agreed in writing, campaigns require a deposit before production begins, with the balance due before installation.

All fees are exclusive of VAT and any applicable statutory levies, which are charged in addition at the prevailing rate. Late payment may attract interest and may result in suspension of display until the account is settled.

6. Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Where production has already commenced, printing and material costs remain payable. Cancellations made after installation do not attract a refund for the elapsed campaign period, and regulatory fees already paid to LASAA or APCON are non-refundable in all cases.

7. Maintenance and Campaign Interruption

We inspect and maintain our structures on a scheduled basis and will repair damage as promptly as conditions allow. Brief interruptions caused by weather, power supply, road works or third-party damage do not constitute a breach of contract. Where a structure is out of service for more than seven consecutive days, we will extend the campaign by the equivalent period at no charge.

8. Intellectual Property

The content of this website — including text, layout, photography and the XL Billboards name and mark — belongs to XL Billboards Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit it without our written permission.

You retain ownership of artwork you supply. You grant us a licence to reproduce, display and photograph it for the purpose of delivering your campaign and, unless you tell us otherwise in writing, to feature photographs of the installed campaign in our portfolio.

9. Limitation of Liability

Our total liability arising from any campaign is limited to the fees paid for the affected placement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including extreme weather, fire, flood, civil unrest, industrial action, government or regulatory action, or failure of public infrastructure. Where such an event continues beyond 60 days, either party may terminate the affected booking.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties will attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by negotiation; failing that, disputes fall to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.

12. Changes and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the date of your booking applies to that booking.
